CBD has been on everyone's lips for the past few years, but many don't even know what it really is. To put it simply, CBD (or Cannabidiol) is one of over 400 kinds of compounds produced by the cannabis plant. Those different compounds are known as "cannabinoids" and I am willing to bet you have heard of at least one more.

What should I try? That is the question on so many people's minds when they first stumble upon CBD. The stuff can get a bit pricey at times, and making the wrong decision on your first outing might entirely turn you off to something immensely beneficial. Here we will take a look at the different delivery methods for CBD and hopefully shed some light on what would be most effective for you.

A big word like "Endocannabinoid" can be confusing or intimidating. However once you understand what it is and how it is helps you, a whole new world of possibility opens up. You will start to understand why and how cannabinoids are able help with things like anxiety, pain, sleeplessness, stress and other issues that may plague you.

Are CBD & Marijuana the same thing?

Though we understand your concern, this is not really the right question to ask. CBD (cannabidiol) can be found in marijuana, but it is not generally the primary active cannabinoid in a recreational strain of marijuana. If you are worried about "getting high" the real culprit is THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). Marijuana is the term used for a high-THC variety of the cannabis plant. CBD products in our store will never deliver a psychoactive effect like marijuana as they are derived from hemp. Hemp is the term used for a high-CBD and low THC (less than 0.3 percent if any) variety of the cannabis plant.

What is the "Entourage Effect"?

Some research suggests that CBD and THC together with other cannabinoids and terpenes work more effectively than either of the two by themselves. This does not mean that a CBD isolate is useless, however there may be a need to use more isolate to get a desired effect than if someone is using a full spectrum extract. This concept has become known as the "Entourage Effect" and is still being research today.

What is CBD?

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a compound (cannabinoid) found in the cannabis plant. Unlike the better known cannabinoid THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD does not give the user a high or produce any psychoactive effects. The known effects are primarily supportive and positive to the body's homeostasis and overall health.
